Prostate cancer story: To my friend with prostate cancer
My dear friend whom I've known for 4 years now has prostate cancer. He has been in remission since 1999... before I met him. In the past few months, the cancer came back. My dad, whom I don't talk to, has the same cancer (recently diagnosed) and my friend's PSA levels are higher than my Dad's. I guess I go through my friend to see how my Dad is doing. Recently I found out that my friend's cancer has spread... We have become closer as if though he is the Dad friendship I wish I had! I love you my dear friend and thank you for showing me the strength I hope to have when I have to say good-bye. This prostate cancer story was submitted by a friend on 7/19/11.
