A word about this web site

HisProstateCancer is a labor of love, inspired by a wonderful man who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2005, and had a radical prostatectomy. Within 2 months he was skiing and outrunning his wife (our founder and editor). Two years later, his cancer recurred, and he underwent 8 weeks of radiation. As of today, his PSA is still undetectable!

Personal experience plus extensive research

HisProstateCancer blends general information with real-life experience and is written specifically for wives, partners and family members. Our mission is to empower spouses and partners with information, help and hope so they can better cope with their loved one's prostate cancer.

All of our articles are thoroughly researched using only reputable and respected medical sources, which are listed on each page. But we are not medical professionals and the information on this web site is meant to be used as a starting point for meaningful discussions with your man's healthcare team.

We may come from different places, and love men with different Gleason scores, but we’re all in this fight together. Never give up the fight!
